Thomas William!
Sorry, I have no pictures to show, but I didn’t take my camera to the hospital yesterday. Thomas is the new son of a very close friend. His Mommy has loved my kids and cared for them like family. I gave her a few hand-made things, but none of my gifts came close to the beauty of this quilt my mom created for her.
Do you recognize these characters? That’s right. Those are Eric Carle’s illustrations from Bill Martin, Jr.’s Brown Bear, Brown Bear. Mom found this fabric and decided it would be perfect for Thomas’s Mommy (an Early Childhood Educator). She pieced the quilt and my aunt quilted it. The quilt is truly incredible!

What a wonderful gift! I saw that fabric in the Clotilde catalog and wished my kids were smaller, they both love that book!!! Please tell your mom the quilt is gorgeous!
