Hey Y'all! I'm Salinda. Welcome to my little piece of the South. I'm a sewing instructor and the seamstress behind PersonaliTy Children's Clothes. I'm crazy in love with my hubby and Momma to 2 spunky swimmers! I'm addicted to Sonic Cokes, my New Orleans Saints, and Jesus!
You know, after last year, I really was afraid that the world was ending–after all, why else would the Saints take the NFC West and make it one step from the Super Bowl?
But, not to worry. All is as it should be. We lost. I won’t repost the score, as it is painful! So, let’s look on the bright side:
We lost to last year’s champs, not some other losing team.
This isn’t the first year that the Saints have started with a loss–and it won’t be the last.
We still have 15 games to go. in the regular season.
He’s home now. There is the lingering vestiage of infection in his elbow, but I think he finally beat this staph. Here are a few things that I learned during the past 2 weeks:
Nurses are angels.
Men are not good patients, but they will consent to treatment when the wife insists.
How to vaccuum the swimming pool.
A 2-hour nap in your husband’s arms in a hospital bed is more refreshing than 6 hours at home.
A true friend not only watches your kids, but also washes your dishes.
Sometimes, the laundry just has to wait.
Don’t forget to feed the dog.
UNO + jigsaw puzzles + 2 children = quality family time.
It’s football season! And tonight’s the game I wish we’d seen last February! Archie’s boy vs. Archie’s team. What a fun kick-off to the fall! Hopefully, I’ll still think so tomorrow…
Speaking of this beautiful and fun time of year, be on the lookout for my new fall designs at PersonaliTy Children’s Clothes. I’m adding my new Halloween designs this weekend, including a gingham bat, an applique pumpkin, and a sassy candy corn for those “not so little” girls!
I haven’t had the opportunity to even sit down at the computer since last Wednesday. Hubby-dearest picked up a nasty staph infection and is in the hospital. After 2 MDs and a couple of different oral antibotics, it was decided that he needed vancomyacin, which he can only get via IV. So, there he sits, still waiting…
