Day 2 of Being Deliberate: Being Grateful

I picked a doozy of a day to chose to be grateful!  🙂

Trash from the Roof

Actually, I have so many blessings to count:

  • I spent the morning with my mom!
  • I got a new roof!
  • My kids are healthy and happy!
  • My hubby gets off at 5 today!
  • I have friends that can jump in to help at the last minute!
  • My sisters rock! (and Susie’s new CPA certificate thingy looks awesome in her office!)
  • My kids are at a great school and I get to tell others about it!
  • Belk’s had really cute summer dresses for $4.98!!!!
There is a story about each of these blessings.  To be honest, I could have complained (and I may have briefly) about each of those stories.  BUT…Instead, I choose to be grateful!

  1. I love the things you were grateful for yesterday. Like the way you’re using your “word of the year” for your 31 days too. My word of the year is “adventure” I’m not sure I could’ve come up with an adventure every day, unless I decided to cook, that’s ALWAYS and adventure. Embarking on the 31 days is an adventure. We’re both doing good.:)

    1. oh but Nita! You are on an adventure! blogging every single day of the month can be a huge adventure! I can’t wait to read more at your blog.
