Have you missed me? I haven’t had much to say lately. Instead I’ve been coughing. Lots. Several weeks ago I lost my voice, a few days later I started coughing, a week later the MD said it was bronchitis, and now, 12 days and 3 antibiotics later—it’s pneumonia! I’m at home and feeling pretty good, but no sewing is getting done! I’m following the rules: Lots of medicine, lots of water, and lots of rest! So, I’m sure I’ll be better soon.
In the meantime, here’s something new to read: My 3 Rules about Sewing Machine Needles has been posted on www.needlesnutsandbolts.blogspot.com .
so glad you are feeling better. My husband had walking pneumonia two months ago. It took a long time for him to feel half way decent. Take care of yourself!
I'm so sorry you're sick! Isn't it just the pits? Two winters ago I just went from one illness to the other and by the end I felt like I'd read every book and hit every website on the internet (we don't have TV or I'd probably be able to add "and watched every program on tv) and I was SO tired of it all. And it's hard to focus and care about anything when your body's feeling icky. Glad to hear you're feeling better and I hope you recover soon!
So sorry you are sick. GET WELL SOON!
Love,
Aunt Kat and Uncle David
How awful! Prayers for a recovery very soon!
Hey girl,
Farm those kids out and get some rest. Stay out of this heat.

Sorry to hear you've been sick– hope you're feeling better soon!!
To answer your question, my fabric sample book is basically a little hardback spiral-bound sketchbook I picked up at one of the craft stores– I went through my stash and cut little swatches from my fabrics and stuck them in with double-stick tape. I also wrote in the information like how much yardage I had, the width of the fabric, what I knew of the fiber content, etc. I keep it in my purse– that way if I want to try to get something to go with a certain fabric in my stash, or see if I already have a fabric that will work with a certain pattern, I have it with me.
